to be clear, i watched perdita durango, not dance with the devil. the latter is heavily edited for a theatrical release along with the name change. watched on severin's 4k uhd release. never ever think you've seen it all, because you're always sleeping on another 'absolute banger', as my brothers are fond of saying. perdita durango is one such banger. a total fever dream of a movie, nightmarish and hypnotic in equal measure.
