such a fun,campy but also touching film the island's overall design doesn't look utter cheesy color design wise unlike the earlier films. has the best cinematography overall out of the trilogy despite stand out moments in the others (glass scene in lost world,the escape in the original) it also has the most shocking,disgusting but fun set pieces such as the skeleton scene and while my favorite character (malcolm) isn't here it makes up with the wonderful cast playing off each other's talent. the infamous alan scene is mad underrated since it's a reflection of post traumatic stress disorder... read more

alan unintentional comedy aside, this flick is kinda hard to hate. at least as kids we got a couple cool licensed games (lookin at cha, operation genesis) & plenty of 2008-era youtube spino circlejerk. i'm not kidding on that last one. slideshow tributes set to nu-metal bands, mediocre animations slapped together in pivot, flame wars over how spino was somehow a better dinosaur than the t-rex; that stuff was all over the place. those really were simpler times, huh read more

the franchise challenge - jurassic park jurassic park iii: back when this came out i think i was excited that we were getting a 3 movie in the franchise and that sam neil was coming back. i remember going to see this and being utterly disappointed by it. it just didnt work for me back then ... and its pretty much the same feeling now. it has some good moments but not enough to sway me to liking it as a whole. billys rescue of eric is probably the best thing about this. i felt at the time and do now that this film hammered a nail on the coffin for this franchise back then and was the reason... read more

I used to consider this the worst Jurassic Park for sure, but the more I've watched it, the more I enjoy it. It's far from the best, but it is so enjoyable rewatchable. PROS: Sam Neill is back as Alan, Eric isn't the most annoying kid in the series, the Spinosaurus is cool CONS: The Kirbys are some of the most annoying characters ever, WHY ARE ALAN AND ELLIE NOT TOGETHER, SERIOUSLY WHY, THAT'S UNFORGIVABLE. read more
