As with most Marvel films, it suffers from an underdeveloped villain that had the potential for so much more. But you don't watch this movie for that, you watch it for how much fun it is! And it is such a fun ride. Definitely not among the worst of the Marvel films but also not up there with the best. read more

Despite all the hate this movie has been getting even from before the release, This movie is a good win for the MCU. If you are one of the sexist people who doesn't like seeing female leads then you can get out of here. This movie’s Major highlight is the chemistry between the three titular characters - Carol Denvers aka Captain Marvel, Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel and Moinca Rambeau. They are soo fun together and keep you entertained. Especially Kamala Khan rules. Another thing that keeps the movie apart from other superhero films is the entangled powers, and the Director made good use of it.... read more

The Marvels is a conventional Marvel product, transient and forgettable. The antagonist is poorly developed and undermines the enjoyment of the narrative. The film suffers from a lack of a competent writer-director duo who could have given it more depth and originality .The film serves as a link to the larger MCU, connecting to Young Avengers, Secret Wars and other projects, but does not suggest a continuation of its own story. The protagonist Kamala (Iman Vellani) and her family provide some comic relief. Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris have important roles. The film is barely worth watching... read more

Ever since Doctor Strange 2, I barely anticipated any other Marvel movies, heard from a lot of people saying this movie is meh, but decided to give it a try anyway. And they're not wrong, I found myself constantly pausing and could not wait for the movie to end, it's watchable but boring, and most of the time found myself confused because you have to watch a heck ton of other series affiliated with this 'sequel' before THIS movie to completely understand what the actual heck happened... but I won't waste that much time, since the other series most likely sucks anyway... Besides Loki Season 2, the most enjoyable thing Marvel has put out since No Way Home. Definitely pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Still with that said, don't go in expecting too much. It's just a slightly above average film. Some corny line deliveries/acting by Larson takes it down a little. Looking forward to the future of those characters as well as those in the post credit scene 👀 read more
